    Neutral court vs away games

I see a lot of talk about ISU not being good away from Hilton, but in reality that does not matter. What matters is games on neutral courts, which is the type of game NCAA games are. They are not road games.

We played two neutral court games vs Providence and Rice and we won them both. This isn't really impressive at all, but it isn't like we lost to mediocre teams on neutral courts.

Home/away/neutral should be considered, not awayfromhome/home.

possible 2nd round matchup could barely be considered neutral.

That's the benefit of the overall number 1 seed for UK. unlucky for ISU. the midwest region or even east region would have been a lot better for them.

Still doesn't make it a "neutral" site.

Last I checked, Texas is a tournament team. I guess that makes the lower half of the bracket mediocre?

Yes, most 11 and 12 seeds are.

Re: Neutral court vs away games

I guess I forgot about Texas, but they are a tourney team and even though we lost we were playing really well at one point and were up 11..... going 2-1 in neutral court games is nothing to make people say we are terrible away from home.

We played Kansas very very tough at PAF. We beat Kstate at the Octagon of Doom. We swept Oklahoma, Texas Tech,Texas A&M, and previously mentioned Kstate. Plenty of wins away from Hilton if you are talking road games.

My apologies to all who insist on seeing the cup as half empty.

All things considered, this is one of the best road teams ISU has had
