Toms Auto Sales of Des Moines experiences?

Im currently lookin into picking up a car from this place and was wondering if anybody else has had an experience with them. Are they a good small dealership or one of those shady ones to probably stay away from?
    Thanks

Google reviews are less than stellar. That's all I know about this place.

If you want a cheap truck, I have a 2003 2wd S10 that I'm selling for someone and it's cheap.

I'm not usually a huge Mustang fan but I'm loving my neighbors 2012 black Mustang GT. It's all blacked out and has sick exhaust. I can't believe I'm saying this but the Mustang is so much better than the new Camaro and Challenger.

My college aged sister in law needed a cheap used car and we stopped there.
Last I knew Tom didn't do any financing, so you better have all cash, that might have changed though.
You can usually expect to get a car at his place for 10% less than sticker.
She did not end up getting a car there though.

Re: Toms Auto Sales of Des Moines experiences?

I have worked w toms on a professional level as well as every other car dealership in central IA. They are as good as anyone. Everyone's used cars come from the same place. For example that mustang prob came in on trade at say Karl Chevy. They sent it to the Waukee auction and toms bought it from there. As with any used car, if you're worried, take it to a mechanic. Go to your bank and get financing.
