Top B12 teams take on traits of their coaches

Big 12 tourney top teams reflect their coaches

Some decent stuff about Fred and ISU in this article.

    One quote:

"Then The Mayor walked his team on to the court: calm, composed and confident, just like his days as a sharpshooter for Iowa State. Fred Hoiberg doesn't wear his competitiveness on his sleeve. He doesn't really need to. His NBA pedigree — a decade with the Pacers, Bulls and Timberwolves — does more to command his players' respect than any amount of shouting or discipline."

Guess they missed Fred chewing McGee's *** against Baylor or Allen earlier in the year. Must have missed him kick the scorers table too. The man has fire, he just knows when to display it.

    "Not at the table Carlos."

Good article, except I don't think many people were that concerned that he wouldn't be successful after last year. (Now, maybe on December 10th....)

That reminds me of a great Dwight Eisenhower quote that I use in my own role as a manager at work; "Never lose your temper, except on purpose."

    Good article. Thanks for linking.
