Roy Williams back in Des Moines

Just left the Boys State Tournament and saw him signing a few autographs, but no media around him... I'm sure he's here trying to recruit Marcus Paige. (I thought Paige already made his decision) No?

Paige already committed to UNC, that doesn't mean Roy can't still come and support him though.

Roy came to Harrison's state championship game and Harrison was committed.

Roy hates his wife. So he comes to Iowa on fake recruiting visits

I'd love for him to get jeered by the crowd.

I'm always amazed at the amount of time basketball coaches spend travelling to watch prospective/future players. I mean if you're a player, wouldn't you rather know that your coach is going to be spending time on game prep, watching future oppenents, developing the current team than travelling around the country watching high schoolers. I'm sure Roy will have some suggestions for things for Paige to work on before he arrives, but couldn't he do that watching his game films?

Yeah staying at home watching game film and calling on the phone, that'd make a recruit and his family feel real welcome and comfortable with choosing that program.
