    Big XII Tournament Predictions

    In order of appearance.

    Round 1

8 OU v. 9 A&M: This game just happened, but OU was at home. A&M is more prepared at a neutral site. 64-68

7 OSU v. 10 TT: Keiton Page beats up on a bad Texas Tech team, even though they're on the rise. 74-63

    Round 2

4 BU v. 5 KSU: A defensive struggle. Scott Drew makes some bad decisions, but they're angry after losing to both KSU and ISU. Pure athleticism bolstered by the shooting of Pierre Jackson pulls them through. 61-59

1 KU v. 9 A&M: Tough luck for Billy Kennedy and Co. Thomas Robinson runs wild yet again, and A&M ends a forgettable season. 86-62

2 MU v. 7 OSU: OSU gives it all they have. Keiton Page gets MU guards in foul trouble with his flopping prowess. Still, it's not enough to overcome the dynamic four guard lineup in the final minutes of the game. The final score doesn't reflect how close the game really is. 86-79

3 ISU v. 6 UT: The inconsistent offense of UT is thrown off by Brown's off-night, courtesy of Babb. Although UT plays inspired interior defense, ISU's four shooting guards are too much. 78-62

    Round 3

1 KU v. 4 BU: Bill Self. Scott Drew. 74-65

2 MU v. 3 ISU: MU finds themselves more sluggish than usual, having to play games on back to back evenings for the first time since November, when they had more guys. ISU takes advantage in the best game of the tournament, and a final MU-KU matchup never happens. 72-73

    Round 4

1 KU v. 3 ISU: Thomas Robinson gets Royce into foul trouble, letting Kansas build a lead in the first half. Even though ISU makes a run at the start of the second, it's not enough to win the championship. 78-69

Let's just say that I will be betting in Cybookie against ISU in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
