I took 370 with Chako (correct spelling) in '09. Great experience, time consuming.. but worth it.

Worthless classes for the most part, where if you have any type of prior business knowledge then you will skate through the class. Just my opinion after taking both classes.

Small homework... reading chapters out of a book and writing a review for each. Little quizes and 3 tests across semester.

Sadly, it's true. If you've never managed a business you probably don't realize how difficult it is to take "business theory" and translate it to "business real world".

That said, you still need to have an understanding of "business theory" to be successful, no matter how difficult it may be to transition the ideas into practice.

    Don't take 370 w/ McElroy. That's all I have.

It might be beneficial, but it's far from necessary.

    easy.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Marketing 340 with Tim Folger = Easy
Management 370 with Rick Smith = legitimately fun class. Tough to get an A, but he hands out Bs.

Another ridiculously easy business class is Accounting 384 with Diane Janvrin if you have a clue how to use a computer.

A very easy business class is MGMT 310 with Dr. Ziang. Easiest class I took at ISU. Its entrepreneurial studies. Highly suggest it.

If you can avoid it don't take it with Chako either, Rick Smith is by far the easiest of the 3. When I was in school he only taught the spring semester.

    Re: Marketing 340, Management 370

Avoid Chacko for Mgmt 370. Mkt 340 I took in the large class setting with Wong and was cake, just had to study and do well on test's. Going to class not too important.

Chako still around? I know there was a crap load of people in 2004ish that didn't get grades they expected and our adviser took some action.
