I would guess so, there was a large area on west side where the football guests usually sit, and it filled up late. I would imagine it was them.

The athletics hosting section is right behind the Pep Band on the West side of Hilton. It looked like the section was almost completely empty 20 mins before tipoff, then by gametime it was packed. That was almost certainly them.

Did they look like athletes? Otherwise with it being standing room only it could have just been the overflow looking for seats and it was closed to them until gametime.

Actual conversation between me and my wife at the game Saturday:

MNCyGal: Oh, that big empty section is filling up. Must be recruits.
MNCyGuy: (Not bothering to look in that direction) Bunch of big high school kids that seem really focused on twittering about being at the game?
    MNCyGal: Yea, how'd you know?
    MNCyGuy: Yep, it's recruits.

No o-linemen from the state. I was hoping the kid from CF and Marion would be there. CF kid might only be Jr this coming year.

He is only a sophmore this year, but the dreaded Hawk offer has come, and his CF coaching staff has pictures of Ferentz hung on the ceiling of their bedrooms, so it will be an uphill battle.

So lets pretend I'm stupid, does this mean they were Sophomores this year and will be Juniors next yr?
