    Reggie miller

Watching espn 30 for 30 about Reggie miller. I think he gets a raw deal, he is truly one of the best players in the history of the game and I fear history will forget him in the long run. Nobody outside of Larry Bird can out clutch this guy

Good player, great shooter, nowhere near one of the best players in the history of the NBA.

Met him when I was about 10 at the Hoiberg basketball camp. Real nice guy and Fred and him seemed like really good friends. Fred beat him in a game of horse in front of the entire camp. If I remember right Fred won it with a shot from over the back of the backboard. I just remember Reggie shouting "that ain't no basketball shot!" Good times.

    Re: Reggie miller

    Legendary trash talker as well.

You have to wonder how his career would have played out had he played in the Western Conference. Being a shooting guard in the Eastern Conference during the 90s meant two certainties: 1) You never going to be better than second best. 2) You weren't starting the All Star game unless MJ was hurt or playing baseball.

Hard not to concur with this sentiment, especially when it's arguable that he's not the best baller in his family.

    +1000

phenomenal player. I remember most weren't expecting an all-star career out of college, even with his famous surname thanks to his older sister.

His rivalry with NY was epic

    Re: Reggie miller

Classy guy who had the bad luck to have his prime coincide with MJ's and then with the early 2000 Shaqobe Lakers. A lot of people forget, but his last season the Pacers were a serious contender for the championship before Ron Artest lost his mind in Detroit and crippled pro basketball in Indiana for the better part of a decade.
