Watch out. Minnesota will soon be better than the Iowa Hawkeyes now that Alford is gone. Geesch.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Recruit

It's a long shot. Tubby is all over him. Plus we have Dykstra and Hopefully Barnes. We need a Point guard in that class unless we can get a freakish Brackins type player then we would take him. Also I wonder how Darious Stevens is progressing.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Recruit

I dont think thats what we need either. dykstra, barnes, stevens and then whatever else need we have like pg or a c. I wonder how dkystras teamate (I think heemstra) is doing. He is just as big as dykstra but I havent heard alot about him. And some article I read said something about buckley's brother going to be in the 2010 class as well.

Is it goal tending if you have 3 super tall guys stand around the hoop with their arms straight up, preventing visibility to the rim? =)

    Re: 2010 Big Man Recruit

I should also say if we have any shot with Evan Anderson from Wisconsin I would also take him. I think he has got like a 7-5 wingspan for a 6-11 Center. He is a five star player. I know the chances are not good and more of a longshot but as long as there is a chance. Definetely think Barnes is our most sought after recruit right now though.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Recruit

buckley's brother going to be in the 2010 class as well.
Probably a walk on candidate right now. He has talent just not a need for him at this point. He probably will get a lot of schollarship offers so I would not look to forward to him comming.

It's a pipe dream at this point. I think his top two are Wisconsin (I think he will be there) and Marquette.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Recruit

I know Evan Anderson is most likely going to Wisconsin, it's just nice to see that a five star recruit is considering us. Hopefully dykstra and barnes are fives and stevens up there for atleast a 4 as well. Its to bad the recruiting services base their rankings alot more on who is recruiting them and how many offers they have then how they play during the season and aau basketball. it seems guys who committ early dont get ranked nearly as high.

So knownothing-who do you think we are going to get for the 2010 class? Without any info i would think dykstra, barnes, stevens and a pg we havent heard of to be our class
