A friend of mine used my tickets for the Oklahoma game and got pics of his son and Royce, Scott, & Ejim. Told me he just milled around and went to the floor when the place cleared out. Caught them coming out of locker rooms I guess.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not dude?
Getting autographs after the games was a BIG deal when I was little. I still have a shoebox with game programs with autographs from players, including our current coach :)
When I was a kid 20 years ago---you went down to the floor of Hilton and the players came out where their locker room was. I think after I was too old for it my sisters got their autographs on the concourse near the entrance to the basketball offices.
Obviously, my information is outdated, but I am guessing after the game you can ask an usher or Hilton staff and see where you go. I'm pretty sure it is probably still one of those 2 areas.
I've never heard anyone having a bad expirence with the players and I'm guessing that hasn't changed. Bring your camera and I'm guessing you can get some of the players to take some pictures with your son.
You can get autographs in the summer at the Capital City League games. As far as I know, they are more than happy to sign autographs.

If you hang around on the court after the game the players come out onto the court and hang out for a bit, talk to friends and family and sign for kids. After the Iowa game I saw Royce signing for a bunch of kids. Sometimes you even see old cyclones players that come to talk to current players and stuff like that. Brackins was down there after the UNI game.
