If our non big 12 playing, couch potato ***** know it...

Then Im sure Royce and his advisor/handler (Freddie Motherfu$#in Hoiberg) know that hes not ready and another year would create millions of more dollars for him. If he stays, which he will because hes a smart kid, and developes a dependable mid range game and improves his defense, look the f#@$ out. Royce will be a lottery pick. Hes already simply the best big man passer in the game already. Has eyes in the back of his head like Tinsley did. Straight up, challenge that?

Honestly it depends on where his stock is right now. If he is projected to be a top 10 pick I'd say go. If for some reason he is not I'd say stay.

It has been interesting the last few years how top 10-15 guys haven't moved up much the next year. And instead their warts get picked at (see Brackins and Harrison Barnes as a couple examples).

So honestly it depends on his stock at the end of the year and if he is inside that top 15 I'd tell him to go if he wants to. Because this was his first year of competitive ball and the fact ISU adds Lucious next year his stock could go up, but if it top 15 already it may stay relatively the same. Now if he is late 1st rounder I'd say that he could improve on that as more people take notice in his game, plus all the things he could improve on.

But because there is soooooo much projection in the draft the last few years, who knows.

I don't pay that much attention to NBA draft projections. Has anybody projected him anywhere near a lottery pick?

As of now no, not that I have seen. That is why I think he should come back. Because I think with another year he is a top talent.

Edit - In fact the latest Draft Express mock doesn't have him as a first or second rounder

Right now I compare Royce's lack of hype to that of Jamie Skeen's lack of hype last year. You know that 6-9 guy that led VCU to the Final Four and is currently tearing it up over seas cause he went undrafted?

As of now I think Royce should come back, but there are a lot of important games to be played and a lot can happen.

I was hoping there were no scouts in the crowd last night in the first half, as he was a man among boys. Kid definitely has skills to move on to the next level, but I think he would be a lottery pick after next season.
