Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.”

Describing the Big 10, in comparison to his years in the Big 12

Really desperate and sucking up to his Big 10 brethren to keep his job

The article below? Basically saying the big 10 is full of great teams (like Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Indiana, Penn St) who play more white guys that pass the ball around the perimeter (and lull us to sleep)
....while the big 12 teams are more 'athletic' ...yet inferior .

Hey Doc!! Were you a plantation owner in your former life? The guy is nuts

Re: Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.”

It's a bad transition for him. It was going to be hard enough with a schedule full of teams they weren't familiar with, but on top of that, he built his team kind of like a Big Ten team in the Big 12. There, he could get by with being a different type of match up, but now, everyone is like his, but better.

Overall, I think he is an NIT-type coach at this level. Nothing he has done has shown me different.

Meh, Nebraska was terrible in the Big 12 too. He's just trying to save his job.

He's just saying what coaches say. The competition you have is always the toughest competition.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

Re: Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.”

...and with Sadler's comments, 99.3% of all Nebraskans believe he will build a great team, take them to the NCAA tournament and win a championship next year.

...the remaining 0.7 percent consist of my wife and I, who were born in Iowa and are much smarter than that.

But they won 7 last year? Nebraska just isn't very good. Much like Iowa. At least Iowa is more fun to watch, but maybe thats just because they are my team.

Here's the Lincoln side of that article.

    Sports

    Quote of the article:

"I wish I could've stayed healthy and scored 50 points every game. But at the end of the day, you're thankful for getting the opportunity to play,"...
    He sounds so dejected.

He seems to be referring to Baylor vs Northwestern last Dec.

Northwestern is a superior 'team' in his mind, because they do the 'weave' from 1951

    Hickory vs Muncie

Why does my life have to be so much tougher than everyone else's?

That the guy has no basis to be publically dogging the Big 12, because he very recently was buried at the bottom of the conference.

If that is the case that the Big Ten is so much better, Doc should be thanking his lucky starts that he was in the Big 12, because if he had been playing in the Big Ten where the teams are so much better, he probably would have went 0-fer in conference two years ago, never made the NIT, and be out of job by now...

Was he really dogging the B12 in those comments? I really didn't think so.
