    BikeCar around Ames

My old roommate built a BikeCar a few years ago, and has been riding all over campus ever since. Have you spotted the BikeCar? Here is a video of it riding around Ames.

What? No stereo? No canopy? No beer cooler? Sorry, it doesn't hold a candle to the quadrabike.

Don't worry there are cupholders, and never leaves without a portable speaker. As far as the canopy goes, it's a convertable baby.

Cool "bike", but I have to agree w/ Velo. At least put in a cooler and cup holders.

But they will still be more than happy to give you a public intox and open container if the mood strikes them.

I've never looked it up, but I've always heard that it's possible to get a DUI on a bicycle. Truth or fiction?

Well you can't drink on a bike. But you are more than welcome to ride a bicycle under the influence. As someone stated above, if you're acting like a jack*** I'm sure the PD can give you a public intox.
