First time at the Big 12 Tourny

    Hey guys,

I am going to the Big 12 mens tournament for the first time this year. Do you guys have any advice for me? I already have our hotel booked, and we are going to scalp tickets. Is there a good place to do that? What should I except to pay for the tickets to the seconds session?

Any other advice would be great!

    Thanks everyone!

Assuming that we beat Baylor and finish as the #3 seed. You will probably be looking at paying $100-$150 for lower levels on Thursday. Maybe $50-$80 for Upper Levels.

If we advance to Friday then both of those numbers probably increase by 50-100%.

It will be an expensive ticket this year with Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and Missouri all being very good.

Wait 5 min til the game starts and you should be fine with finding tickets for a reasonable price. Try to find other teams schools that are out on Wed. and buy sessions from them.

Also, if you are coming Wed. night they are having a free Vertical Horizon concert inside the P&L that starts at 1030.

Are they worried about the P&L being packed so they booked a crappy band to keep people away?

That's funny, I've seen them randomly playing for free in the KC Live area at the P&L before. I had to shake my head at that, I remember when they played Veisha, its pretty rough when you have to play free outdoor shows, I don't even think they advertised them last time.

Re: First time at the Big 12 Tourny

This is a little dated, but it deals with scalping at the old arena down by the stockyards in KC. The basic rules are still the same.
