    Auto-play ads

I'm definitely a hater of the auto-play video ads with sound, and now I've started hearing it two or three times without refreshing the page. It's getting really annoying.

On a side note: It's an ad for the BTN. Just curious why that's even on an ISU site?

Agree. Having the sound ads go off during class is a bit embarrassing.

Yes, that means I am on CF during class.

Lol, I've been in that boat before. Definitely not a nice position to be in.

First thing I always do when I open my laptop in class is mute it. And it is because of auto play videos.

Sounds like a simple solution, maybe I should give it a try!

    Re: Auto-play ads

I use a flash blocker to keep them from playing. Basically I have to have a browser just built for surfing CF.

Tragically, these solutions won't work on a work computer. At least not one that belongs to my company, what with their crazy IT (internal terrorist) group!
