    Re: Monday Musings: 2-27 Edition

I’m test driving a Toyota Highlander (from Wilson Toyota of Ames of course) today. That Tron Smith is one hell of a salesman you know?
I'm not a Toyota person (sorry Tron) but from what I've heard you won't want to give that vehicle back.

Make sure you check out the hybrid Highlander, Chris. Extra horses (with both the gas and electric engines working together) and easier on you at the pump.

Thanks for the tip. We're strongly considering this with what the summer looks like. Normally I'm not a hybrid guy but with the way my wife drives (a lot of stop and go), it makes sense for us if we plan on keeping the vehicle a while, which we do.

    Re: Monday Musings: 2-27 Edition

    Chris,

I'm glad you touched on both the PG issue and the Bobby Lutz issue. I was thinking about both the other day. To an outsider, im not sure they could watch a recent game, and bring up either issue as a severe fault with the way this team has learned / been coached to play.

Miller and Brinson brought up a question a week or so ago: Cyclone fans, would you rather have a true PG or a true center (Withey-type shot blocker)? Which would make the team better? What are your thoughts? Maybe you and Blum could approach this with your Friday Debate?

They don't pay much attention to our style if a proto center or pg is the question. We want uptempo more, so a pg would be more important than a tall methodical center.

Tron giving you a hefty discount eh? And the Highlander must've changed because I remember my family looking into one back in 2007 or 2008 and we thought it was a rough ride.
