    JT SEZ Plans

These were posted to ISU's project website a few years ago so things may have and likely have probably changed. I just found them on my computer and thought I would share again, I uploaded and linked it for download. These plans included actual seating numbers for all areas.

    Upper Bowl

I was just about to get mad that someone started another SEZ thread, but I have not seen those before. Thanks!

    Re: JT SEZ Plans

The upper deck plans are drawn showing individual seats instead of bleachers. Not sure what is up with that.

Armchair seating has become popular in endzone seating. Perk for sitting in the endzone.

Unless I am reading it wrong, and I probably am, those plans appear to call for a Trice Stadium capacity of.....76,572!

    Re: JT SEZ Plans

Basically, in order to bowl in the SEZ, they will have to remove 1486 seats from the existing E bowl and 1120 seats from the existing W bowl. The lower bowl adds 7944 seats, minus off the seats lost and that leaves us with 5338 seats.

We don't know how many seats the current bleachers in the SEZ have, I think I have heard before 3 or 4 thousand. Not adding very many seats to the lower bowl

When those were added, the published capacity went up ~2,800.

Your reading it wrong. I don't see anywhere on those plans that call for anything over 54000.

So we are basically putting another bleacher in the endzone. Adding another 2500 seats or so.

Lower bowl plan says 53000. Add in 6k hillside and standing room puts us at 59-60 area.
