    ISU at Missouri

So it looks like ISU gets to break the hearts of Missouri fans by beating them, giving the Big 12 championship to KU. I can handle that :)

    Re: ISU at Missouri

Yeah, as it is right now they're sure giving Kansas a heck of a lot to handle (19 point lead...) I don't know what would help us more. Them winning a blowout game and thinking they can walk through us and have a let down, or they end up losing a heart breaker and aren't prepared. Not sure what is more likely.

They sure look good right now though.. So.. let's disappoint them!

Don't know if this has been asked in any other thread, but unless I am mistaken......with Mizzou having now lost to KU....if we beat them to give them five losses, then beat Baylor in our final game...wouldn't we claim second based on our win over KU as the tie breaker?

ISU is second if they win out. (I think.)

I don't think we would have the tiebreaker. They beat KU once too, plus they swept Baylor.

This is correct. Missouri would have to lose to TTech for us to have the 2 seed in the tournament.

    If ISU wins out:
    Split KU.
    Split Baylor.
    Swept KSU.

    Missouri:
    Split KU.
    Swept Baylor.
    Lost both to KSU.

You could be right there. I need to find that Big 12 tournament bracket generator thread.

ISU is second regardless of what Missouri does if ISU wins out.

if ISU wins out, and MU beats tech, they both finish with 13-5 records, and we split home losses, so we tie for 2nd. If ISU beats MU, and MU somehow miraculously loses to Tech, then ISU is in sole possession of 2nd place.

But in terms of seeding for the B12 tourney you are correct. If we win out, and Missouri goes 1-1, we get the 3 seed.

Untrue, win out ISU, lose out Mizzou leads to 13-5 record for ISU and 12-6 for Mizzou. In the realm of being possible ISU winning out and Mizzou splitting(they won't lose to Tech) would lead to a a tie with Mizzou winning the breaker via sweeping Baylor.

if MU loses out and and we win out we get 2nd by 1 game. won't happen but that is the way it would play out mu 12-6 vs isu 13-5
