    Props to Clones/Hoiberg

    Wow...20 wins, 10-5 in the league...very impressive and congrats.

    I am a big second chance guy...and Fred certainly has given out several, and faced some skepticism from some corners. I believe I was consistent in saying 'Let's see how it works, let's see if everyone stays on the same page' Although I would not sit here and say that I didn't toss in some snark along the way.

    But these transfers have blended well with the more traditional route players, and a true team has emerged this year. It's also happened without a real true PG, which is the biggest shocker to me.

    So congrats and enjoy the dance.

    It's gotta be tough for you to come on here and admit you were wrong about Hoiberg and the transfers.... so I have to hand it to you for doing so.

    Unfortunately, I might be wrong about Fran too. I didn't think he'd be able to turn the Iowa program around, but I'm worried he might be on the right track. It will all depend on how good Woodbury and Gesell really are? If they aren't as good as advertised, then I don't see Iowa turning it around any time soon. Fran's pulled out a miracle this year IMO already though, and they could make the NIT still.

    .. while he recruits unathletic players and calls them saviors. I dont care what your opinion is of Fred Hoiberg good or bad, truth is you couldnt hold his jock. You running your mouth about how he has recruited second chance thugs holds zero water, I believe those thugs have stayed out of trouble and have gotten pretty good greades along the way.

    I can guarantee you I have never spoken or written the words second chance thugs, ever, as it relates to Hoiberg's recruiting practices the last two years...or anything remotely in that derogatory vein. Some Iowa fans have, not me. I don't care if you or others don't care for what I say or write, not one bit. Just get it right, and don't make crap up like that.
