    Buy ISU/OU tickets from scalper?

Went to the ISU game Sat. and there were a lot of people trying to buy tickets but didn't seem to be many sellers. Did any one buy tickets before the game, were they hard to get, what did you have to pay? I am thinking about going down for the Baylor game (not sure at this time ) but don't have tickets. I refuse to pay $100 - $200 to get then thru Stubhub. With as many empty seats as there were Sat. I wouldn't have thought they would be hard to get.

I don't know how we can have so many empty seats, but no tickets available. I was looking for some tickets to Baylor too.

I heard people trying to sell balcony seats for $80 each yesterday.

Just a few minutes before game time, lower level were going for $50. If you're willing to miss a couple minutes of the game, the prices will go down a lot.

I did. Scalpers were selling lower levels for $100 a piece and upper decks for $50. Unbelieveable. Luckily I found two guys selling singles for $20, even though they were terrible seats. Tough ticket to find.

Wow that is unreal. No way I'd pay that to watch us play a ****** OU team.

Re: Buy ISU/OU tickets from scalper?

Is there any way to find out how many tickets go unsold on stub hub? And is there any way to stop this from happening? I've been meaning to take my son to a game all year, and now I'm down to the last 2 and the only one with seats available is on a school night. Looks like I better make plans to go to kc.

Just curious as to why you would buy from stubhub or scalpers this far out when you can just buy from the AD?

Your tickets are going to be a lot higher cost in KC than Ames. Guess you never been anywhere.

IRight outside I sold my single upper deck ticket for $5 (face value) just to get rid of it. Guess I should have held out for more.

    Because they are sold out?

Would have bought season tickets, but just moved back to the area and was not feasible to buy from my old location.

You're right, I haven't. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but the tickets on stub hub are around $80 for the Baylor game and for the big 12 tourney (cheapest). It is just unfortunate that there are empty seats for games due to over priced tickets on stub hub. If I lived within 100 miles of Ames I would have bought season tickets.

There wasn't an empty seat in the house, minus the student section upper deck.

At least not very many, IMO. Guessing there are just a handful that do not sell on Stubhub.
