    Amare Stoudemire

Is there a player in the NBA more overrated than this guy? Unless someone is creating a easy layup or dunk for him, he is a useless offensive player. Also, unless the ball bounces to him, he doesn't grab rebounds. He doesn't fight for balls. This is the third time this season I have watched him play. I watched him a few times last year and have never once been impressed.

He would be a force to recon with if he used his size to rebound. He's a poor mans Dwight Howard.

He used to be a lot better. The knee injuries have taken their toll on him.

I don't know if I would agree with your second sentence. He had a couple of really good seasons post-microfracture surgery. He just doesn't seem to be hustling as much for rebounds, and he's not a good jump shooter. Nash made him look better than he is. He's a good player, but not a great player like he looked like in Phoenix.
