If you could name the last time the big 10 only got 1 team into the sweet 16, that would be great. Come on KA, you're better than that.

Sports Illustrated just jumped on the Big 10 hype wagon today with it's new issue. Barf.

2007. Although that was an improvement from the year before when they got zero in the sweet sixteen.

Since you're being rediculous, I'll include some other examples. Creighton is not a very good team because they lost to Evansville. UNLV is not very good because they lost to TCU. Wichita State to Drake. Florida State to Clemson. The list goes on and on. Iowa caught Wisconsin on a cold shooting night, it happens in college basketball. They'll probably stomp on our face in Iowa City.

Great, just wanted to see what the term regularly meant on these boards.

Ouch. The 2006 NCAA Tournament was not kind to the B1G at all. #3 seed Iowa got bounced by #14 seed Northwestern State, #9 seed Wisconsin got blown out by #8 seed Arizona by 19, and #6 seed Michigan State got upset by #11 seed George Mason.

The 3 B1G teams lucky enough to advance to the second round included #6 seed Indiana who lost to #3 seed Gonzaga, #2 seed Ohio State who got destroyed by #7 seed Georgetown by 18, and #4 seed Illinois who got beat by #5 seed Washington.

That has to be one of the worst showings for the B1G in a long time.

It has to be. The Big XII has stunk it up before but it is pretty rare. The Kansas choke job against UNI was epic but I am not sure how the rest of the Big XII faired that year.

The Big East has recently had a nice track record of the majority of their conference teams stinking it up in the Tournament. They always have their hype machine in overdrive come March and other then a team or two they deliver pretty bad overall performances.

No.. Wisconsin doesnt stomp anyone. They beat Penn State by about 5. Thats just how they go, they really dont score much on anyone.

I really think Iowa beats them in Carver after Bo tries to slow down the game. That Wisconsin team is a one man show.

Man, looking back at 2006, that was a terrible tournament for both the big 12 and big 10. Big 12 only had 2 teams advance to the second round, 1 to the sweet 16. That was the George Mason year. Weird tournament where no #1's made it to the final four. I honestly believe Wisconsin has been looking to kick our ***** since that night. Cartwright played out of his mind, as he has in 2 games all year, and they couldn't hit anything from 3. I hope it goes the same way in IC, but I have serious doubts.

It was pretty much just a fantastic year for mid majors.

It was a weird tournament. I'll never get how that UConn team doesn't win it all. That team was absolutely stacked.
