Best option for us at point guard.

Saw this on WRNL. Khaal wrote an article about who is our best option at PG, or more correctly what is the best combination of guards for us. With Allen on the streak he's been on lately, I think it's safe to say that CFH may have been right at the outset with having SC play PG, it just took us a little longer than we would have liked to get it all straightened out.

    Anyway, thought it was interesting.

The change back to Scotty at PG has definitely benefited the team. After watching the Missouri/Baylor game, however, I'm petrified at the thought of Scotty bringing the ball up against Missouri in Columbia, especially after how he did against pressure in the OK State game. I see Royce handling more of the PG duties in the Missouri game.

Clones21 is our best option at PG. According to him, he can out dribble SC.

That may be right. I think the best option is RW/SC and having CA run off the ball. SC has gotten better at going 1v1, but we can't survive against Baylor with a lot of that from him.

Perhaps with a little bit of Bubu sprinkled in here and there.

We've missed Bubu. Did it cost us a game? I don't know but it may have.

He still had his cast on on Sat. I thought. But looking at his twitter he said he would be back today.

There is no way to prove one way or the other, but I really think it has. We have missed Bubu a lot.

Re: Best option for us at point guard.

I would like to see Chris bring the ball up the court when Scott is out on the floor with him but would like to see Chirs roll over to the off-guard position when McGee enters the game. In terms of ball security I like the McGee Allen combo but I am not sure it meshes up with their strengths well.

With Scott bringing the ball up what for more high ball pressure the rest of the season. Scott seems to get more flustered then our other guards against the high ball pressure. The key for him will be getting the ball accross half court and swinging out to a wing to get the offense rolling quickly and not putting pressure on him to dribble and make plays.

I meant the OU game this weekend. It would be awesome if he is healthy but it might be rough to try to get back to full speed against Baylor

I didn't think there was a cast on his arm, but I could be wrong

CA is a much bigger threat off the ball, you can tell that is his game
