Next Year. Who Plays and What Spot?

Point guard will be Cory and Bubu.

2 guard will be McGee and one of the freshmen. Can Clyburn play 2 guard? Or does Babb play the other 2 spot with McGee coming in off the bench like this year?

3 Is it Babb. We need him on the floor. Clyburn? Does Ejim go back to his natural position at 3?

4 Ejim, Niang, White, Booker, Gibson

    5 White, Booker, Gibson

I think it is going to take some time to sort out who play where, how much and what are the best combinations. I watched Clyburn in the CC League but can't remember is he seemed to be someone that could play the two.

Re: Next Year. Who Plays and What Spot?

I'm thinking the starting lineup will look like this:

    PG Korie Lucious
    G Chris Babb
    G Will Clyburn
    SF Melvin Ejim
    PF Royce White

I like Tyrus McGee getting alot of min like this year, as well as Percy Gibson. Naz Long, and Georges Niang will hopefully get valuable time as well
Most experience on the court from the start. Lots of talent. I like our Royce White PG play but it will be interesting to see what RW is capable of with a true experienced PG dishing it to him.

Next year could be really fun!!!

I'm not sure who will start but I almost hope McGee and Booker keep coming off the bench. I love the energy, shooting, and athletic ability they bring off the pine.

The key next year (assuming we don't lose anyone outside of seniors) is that we will be deep. Especially our guards. I think CFH is building the type of team that can run well and play the transition game to our advantage.

Way too soon to even THINK about next year. We still have 15 games left.

Inclined to agree with you. IMO, Tyrus continues to give us the lift off the bench we need. He has the right mentality and provides a real spark. I don't see how you keep those five guys you list out of the starting lineup. Ejim has really improved his game IMO. And that team is a matchup nightmare. We should have a deep and talented team next year IMO.

I agree that this will be the starting lineup for next year. Then having Gibson, McGee, Long, and Niang coming off the bench will make for one heck of a team!

Will Okoro and SDW play next year at all? I could see Okoro possibly filling in for Babb as our lock down defender when he needs a breather.

I didn't realize that people on a message board are not allowed to look ahead. You probably think we should all be discussing about Baylor and nothing else right now, right?

Re: Next Year. Who Plays and What Spot?

    Lucious
    Babb
    Clyburn
    Ejim
    White
    McGee

    Get the majority of minutes.

    Next tier of PT:
    Booker
    Palo
    Gibson
    Niang

    And then mop up duty:
    Okoro
    SDW
    Sledge/ Long
    Railey

Yes, I know I included 14 scholarship players, but I won't speculate at who won't return.

Re: Next Year. Who Plays and What Spot?

I think it'll be easier overall to integrate guys, since it's really two guys plus freshmen (who might not play a lot yet) to integrate.

At the same time, one of the new ones that will play a lot is the PG, so that messes with my logic some.
