I am very intrigued by him as a prospect. Love his personality, but I can't help but wonder how we land someone with his measurables from "Indiana". I love what CPR is doing and he can only help recruiting, but how many kids have came here from Indiana? He sounds like the perfect recruit for us with size and speed.

He is pretty raw, but very athletic. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he's only been playing football for 2 years.

My understanding was that Aka has played football for a while, but that his family moved to Indiana two years ago. I believe that I read that they had lived in Texas before that.

Arlington Bowie is a very good 5A Texas program that turns out multiple D1 players every year. He had very good coaching while he was there.

Sorry must have confused him for another recruit.

I'm glad he had such good coaching. I'm guessing he was a bit under the radar because of the move to Indiana. Also, because he played so many different positions for his HS, he probably did not get a lot of attention from bigger schools.

Aka has played football for three years. He skipped his Sophomore year and jumped to his JR year. His Freshman year in Texas he played 4 snaps. He is very raw. Excited to see what he can do!

Dumb! They should have redshirted him.
