Re: Will UConn Get to "Punish" Itself for Low APR Standing?

The University of Connecticut has proposed reducing the number of games it will play next season if the NCAA grants a waiver to allow the Huskies to play in the 2013 men’s basketball tournament.
I hope the NCAA tells them to stuff it. Conform to the rules and accept the consequences. Unfortunately, that will not happen and the NCAA will help them out for the $$$ they deliver.

The NC AA had better stick to their guns or they will have future problems with other institutions.

If any of those sanctions would help students then it might matter. Reduce the practice hours if you are really serious about students. Then restrict how long players can be in the basketball facilities.

Keeping Calhoun on campus isn't a big deal considering his health.

We are competing with UCONN for several NY/ New England recruits. Selfishly, I hope they get punished, and that recruits are scared away because of that, and Calhoun's health.

Simultaneously, I hope he gets better. ...Maybe he needs to retire to do so :)

Reducing practice time isn't going to do anything. There is no way to enforce it.

I f'n hate UConn...if anything, they should get a worse punishment...I'd ban them for 2 years for being this pathetic.
