My Son will be a ballboy this Saturday

Pretty excited. Growing up I was a football ball boy for a while. My oldest brother was a football ball boy for about 4 or 5 years. My 2nd oldest brother was a football ball boy. So now it's time for my little boy to do his job as a basketball ball boy. I wish he could do football but the rules have changed since I was little.

Just don't allow him to dance around the court while the refs clean up a snow cone.

    That's awesome. Congrats!

Since Fred was a ballboy, I suppose we can set expectations on your son right now. I think he should be head coach, after having his jersey retired, and hung in the rafters.

And it all began here. Mark it down!

Just make sure he doesn't sprain Royce White's ankle.

Growing up, I always wanted to do that, but never got the chance.

    No that's Jordan Railey.

Just kidding. My son has never done it before. He will be doing it a lot more next year. This will be his first time.

Clearly being a Hawkeye fan you don't know the history between ball boys, Fred Hoiberg and sprained ankles.

    I've heard a rumor or 2.

I was talking about the other guy, which I think you know.

Apparently what you don't know is the other guy is Bubu.

He will enjoy it. I was a ball boy during the McDermott days and I loved it. Never going to forget shooting threes before the games and getting yelled at by Sean Haluska because he walked right into my pass that was intended for Alex Thompson. Good times.

You would be a ball man. You could call Kosmo Kramer and ask him. He was a tennis ball man.

For recruiting reasons you have to stop before you get into High School. Maybe if you are a really old middle schooler though?

If he used up his eligibility there wouldn't be any recruiting issues.
