    Why Is Scott

Bringing the ball up the court again?? I understand Allen has wing skills but Chris rarely gets the ball taken away from him compared to Scott.... Our offense also started gelling earlier this year when we made the switch to Allen at PG duties... I think that's a major reason this game didn't go as well

    Re: Why Is Scott

I'm not bashing the guy, I love him as a Cyclone, I just don't understand why he thinks he needs to drive the ball so much. Seems like he's been passing up some shots lately.
Tough loss but we'll bounce back.

He is a turnover machine when he tries to handle. Why Hoiberg went back to that tonight was baffling. Christopherson should do nothing more than spot shoot the ball.

He costs ISU every game doing it. Fortunately, it has been overcome many nights. Get the ball out of his hands.

I'm 95% sure that I dribble better than him. I'm not kidding. He has NO cross over.

    Re: Why Is Scott

I like SC's shooting abilities, however....he is terrible at driving in. Unless there's a wide open lane, he either turns the ball over or gets his shot blocked when he dribbles too much. Every once in awhile he draws a foul. A little frustrating. I have no problem with him going mid way and shooting a jumper or passing.

Agree. OSU is way too athletic for Scotty to be handling the ball that much. It also takes him away as a 3-point threat, which we sorely needed tonight.

No really. It wasn't a joke. I really do think I dribble better than Scott.

    Re: Why Is Scott

Scott is a spot up shooter. Not having a point guard kills his game.

He has been the guy for the last few games.

When SC is the main ball handler White seems to hang out around the 3pt line more hurting the inside game.

I don't know if I've ever seen you on this forum after a win. Is all you do is call out players and ***** about things after losses? Just curious.

Time for Clones21 to walk-on....and get laughed off the court after 1 practice.

    Re: Why Is Scott

I don't think SC is a bad dribbler IN THE OPEN COURT. However, he's a terrible ball handler when he's being defended. For the record, I have seen SC cross over and we all have. He's not as bad as we think. However, the nearest guy when he has done it is usually about 4 feet away. When he's tightly defended, he is not good with the ball.
