Anyone finding any good deals on Flat screens this weekend...

Wondering if anyone has been finding any good deals on LCD/LED tv's this week with the Superbowl tomorrow.

My inlaws are looking for a new flat screen 46-55" range but don't want to spend much more than $800 or so.

Shopping around with different retailers is a good call. As long as you are looking at major/standard brands, I wouldn't sweat buying it at Wal-Mart vs. buying it somewhere else.

I would suggest comparing models in-person (even if you end up buying online). That way you can evaluate how the size feels and if the color and brightness are what you're looking for. Once you narrow down options in-person, then just look for the best price among retailers.

The models at Walmart are often exclusively lowest end models made by manufacturers to hit super low price points. That said, someone looking in the $800 price range likely isn't a terribly discerning shopper and likely won't care enough to notice a little lower quality.
