I agree seems worse for all the guys who have to fix and clean the mess. The IT guy gets to order all new ****. Thats more fun than work. The finance department are probably in as bad of shape as anyone. $$$
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.
Screw the IT guy, I feel for the maintenance crew that actually has to clean that crap up.
I'm having flashbacks to cleaning up Hilton and Scheman after flooding in the early 90's.
It was a nightmare for some of the IT guys. They were disassembling and cleaning hard drives and floppy disks by hand and drying them in the open air trying to get them clean enough so they could salvage some of - any of- the data on them. In scheman people were putting back up disks in their bottom drawers of their desks; very smart in a flood plain.

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr
