    Bubu Palo

Anyone know when he gets back? Right now we lack a true point guard and it is my belief that if he was in the lineup we would be undefeated in conference play right now.

This team has good chemistry right now adding a player may cause issues.

We are playing a ton better without Bubu. Don't mess with anything when we are winning!

    Re: Bubu Palo

We could use him for defense in key situations. We want him for the tournaments.

Let Prohm's Posse Ride: Georges, Hallice, Deonte, Abdel, Monte, Matt, Jordan, and again McKay.

    Re: Bubu Palo

The main thing here is turnovers. Royce and Allen at point are both turnover pron, and Scotty at point takes away from his threat as a scorer. Even the dumb college basketball analysts talked about our need of a point guard after the first Kansas game. With Bubu we get a great defender, a spark off the bench, and a point guard who can manage a game.

    Re: Bubu Palo

We were improving before he was injured though. He certainly would give us some additional minutes and could help us get into our offense when Allen or Scotty are out. Not sure that any of our outcomes would have been different, but I'll be glad when he's back.

    Re: Bubu Palo

Idk. If bubu would of been in vs kansas when they started making thier run, bubu could have gotten in the paint and got to the free throw line. Idk if he would have made them but he deff would have made a difference. Some people on this board just hate on bubu even tho thier is absolutely know reason to. He plays within himself and he works his *** off. Cant hate that

Bubu definitely adds to the team, so it will be great when he is back.

    Re: Bubu Palo

no issues with BuBu but McGee has earned more minutes. I think you will see 7 Players most of the rest of the way with McGree and then Booker/Gibson trading minutes. This team needs everyone to settle into their roles and they could be very good and a tough out in the Tournament. Royce is the leader, Allen is a scorer (within the offense), Babb is the stopper and 3 point threat, Scotty is 3 point threat and secondary scorer, Ejim is defense, rebounds and easy buckets. Booker/Gibson are big bodys for defense rebounds, its Royces team, he gets to do what he want except shoot jump shots

That would make 8, not 7. And from what I could see on the horrible espn 3 feed (which wasn't much). Royce was 2-3 on jumpers including the game winner.

    Just saw this:

Go Cyclones - McGee’s homecoming takes him to Oklahoma

    "Palo almost back

Hoiberg said guard Bubu Palo, who broke his wrist earlier this season, could return to action in two weeks."

    This.
Scotty and Allen have been getting killed on D the last few games. In crunch time, it would be good to have him in the lineup. Just like the other day, they put in Sledge for defense, that would have been Bubu had he been healthy.

Agree, His enegry and defense off the bench is a huge for us. Plus the kid isn't scared to take it to the rim and draw a foul.

Not to mention actually being dependable once he gets to the line.
