"We embrace that challenge and what it presents to us. Im going to approach all 12 games this way: Were going to win them all. If we prepare and then go out and execute, were going to win all 12. Now how many are we going to end up with at the end of the year? I dont know, and youre right, I wont put a number on it."- Paul Rhoads on having the toughest schedule in the Big 12

Todd Sturdy is in his third season as Washington State's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. A former head coach at St. Ambrose University, Sturdy joined the WSU staff in 2008 after serving as Paul Wulff's offensive coordinator at Eastern Washington during the 2007 season.
As a player, Sturdy was a quarterback for St. Ambrose University from 1987-90, while he earned a bachelor's degree in history education. In 1988 he was named the team's MVP, and as team captain in 1989, he received the coach's appreciation award.

Sturdy attended Tipton High School, where he played four sports and accumulated 14 varsity letters. He was named all-state as a quarterback and started at quarterback for the South team in the 1986 Shrine Bowl.

    Re: New WR coach

Well here's something interesting. This is just days after this:

Montana State football coach Rob Ash isn't wasting any time filling his vacant coaching positions.

Todd Sturdy, the former offensive coordinator at Washington State, gets the nod as MSU's new offensive coordinator.

Final paperwork was being completed Tuesday afternoon, so MSU didn't make a formal announcement. But Ash says he's "thrilled" with what Sturdy will bring to the Bobcat program.

    Re: New WR coach

looking around rivals, it looked like he recruited a lot in CA for WSU.

    Re: New WR coach

If he comes, this sounds like a great, overqualified hire. I think it's great to have someone who clearly has skills to get promoted in that position, and an experienced OC on board.

If he doesn't, I'm glad for him with the Montana State position. I'll be curious to see how this shakes out.

How do coaches rate that as a career decision?

Very interesting.HC there is Rob Ash the former Drake coach (I assume Chris Ash's dad). He also brought in a former Hawkeye WR Demo Odems.
Rob has no relation to Chris.
