Traveling to Texas in 4 days had to be an issue

I was worried going into the game against Texas that ISU might have dead legs after traveling to Texas in 4 days..

I don't think it helps at all, but I wouldn't single this out as the reason they lost. I brought this up today... http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...cheduling.html

The Big 12 needs to a better job of scheduling as it relates to these type of road trips.

It certainly didn't help. On the flip side we need to be tough enough to battle through it.

I'd file this under "E". For excuse.

It may be an issue. How many Texas fans had smart phones? Evidently not very many.

Agree it didn't help, but as I understand it, the team charters a plane for both Texas trips. The streamlines travel and should negate any of the lethargy that extended, commercial flying with connections, etc.

The team got to spend 2 nights in their own beds between the games. Wanted to keep them in as normal of a routine as possible. Remember what happened last year between the Okie State game and Missouri game when we didn't come home in between?

Missing class and 2 or 3 more nights of hotel rooms I'd guess. The flight is what, an hour and a half? I can't imagine a short flight like that in the same time zone makes a real difference.
