    Recruiting ?s

I haven't heard much on the recruiting front. I know lots of players don't take visits until after their high school season though. Certainly winning more games attracks more recruits, but upgrades in talent are needed to win more games. Any updates anyone can provide on recruits we are looking at that we are still in the running for? Who in state is having a decent season (I live overseas so don't see the local Iowa papers) that might get an offer? Where does this staff focus recruiting?

    Re: Recruiting ?s

On the surface, the recruiting is not looking very good so far. I have confidence that Iowa State is working it hard and has their eye on a lot of good players. Actually, having verbal commits on the rivals or scout board is not always an advantage. Until they actually sign, someone else can pick them off. That has already happed to Iowa State with a supposed commit. So it's early. I'm still confident we'll do fine.
