Single biggest reason for turnaround since MVSU game

I'm going to say the emergence of Christopherson as the leader of this team. He's much more aggressive than he was earlier in the year.

Best move Fred has made was to move him off the ball. He looks to take his guy to the rim on nearly every possession which opens up things for everyone else. He also draws a lot of fouls and hits his free throws.

Lots of guys have stepped up, but we needed someone to take control of this team on the floor and he's done it.

I agree with the above. The rest of the team needs to take lessons.

Wrong. Because Fred slapped the table.

I don't know if its improved a ton from MVSU but since the beginning of the season the defense and rebounding have improved greatly. Their not getting worked over on that end of the court like they were against UNI and Drake.

I would have to say the most important improvement was the defensive improvement.

IMO we've just had more effort. Some of that may be due to Scotty's leadership, but without being in the huddle it's hard to say. The defensive intensity has really picked up which, in turn, fuels the offensive runs we've been seeing.

    Seneca Wallace!

Joking aside, I think it's a combination of things. Scottie, "D", Royce, Babb's D on the other team's best player, and the team just starting to gel.

Scottie stepping up has been great, but I really think the defensive communication and Babb's unselfish act on defensive assignments are the two reasons. Now if we could just make free throws.........

Re: Single biggest reason for turnaround since MVSU game

Eyrus replaces Scottie many times so SCV needs to be doing his thing to stay in the game.

Offense going through Royce who passes makes it more difficult to defend this team.

Chris Allen taking better shots is helping.

Booker no nonsense play lately and threes is bearing fruit.

Let my Fred's Posse Ride: Georges, Naz, Hogue, Bryce, Nader, Monte, Matt, and McKay.

I agree. Scottie has made a lot of baskets at key times when we really needed one.

I also wonder if Fred hasn't found a little bit more of "his" voice as far as motivating this team.
