    Re: ISU testing treadmill/desk combo

I would LOVE that. Sitting still at work just kills me. I'd crank that thing up to 8 mph when I'm stressed though.

There would be nothing more annoying than listening to someone breathing heavy while on a conference call.

lol I could lose some weight and it would be good for me, but I don't know if I would want to walk for 8 hours.

Several people where I work have stand-up work stations instead of the traditional cube setups. A few of these people are directors and/or VPs.

I know an executive that already uses a treadmill desk. This is not a new thought.

No one said you had to crank it up to Mach 5. Unless you get out of breath by walking at a leisurely pace, I suppose that is another story.

Yeah, if you are breathing heavy while walking you need more than a treadmill desk

Put me behind your avatar and I would be breathing hard just standing there.

Agreed, but a treadmill isn't required for some people to do that. It's seemed as if I've been on a conference call with Darth Vader sometimes...

Back to the treadmill...if someone is on a treadmill while working on an airplane design, will it be able to take off?
