    Poll: Super Bowl 2-week gap

Do you like the two-week break between conference championships and Super Bowl?

This is "in general" regardless of if you're intrigued by the matchup.

Re: Poll: Super Bowl 2-week gap

To be honest, I need a "don't care" option. I really don't get up for the SB too much anymore. I never have a dog in the fight anyway.

I'm similar most years I figured if I included an "opt out" third option, though, it strayed from point of the poll (for those who do feel one way or the other).

The gap decreases my interest in the superbowl... But increases my anticipation for the commercials

How anyone can like it is beyond me...and adding the Pro Bowl BEFORE? Idiotic. Super Bowl is becoming more about the event and everything surrounding it. I didn't care about the nat'l champ game in CFB by the time it rolled around and I don't care about this years Super Bowl either...need to make it more about the game and football fans will care more

I'll give my anser.......After the break..................

Seems everyone loves using this strategy now. It actually made me stop watching some of my favorite programs and definitely has me losing interest in the Super Bowl. By the time it comes around, I just don't care anymore.

I agree. The week off combined with the super long halftime show really mess up the game itself.

Re: Poll: Super Bowl 2-week gap

The only point I can see for the 2 week gap is it gives each team time to get healthy. Other than that I see no reason for it except an extra week to talk about it. They spend most of the time repeating themselves over and over ad nauseum. There is only so much you can talk about.

I felt the same way about the Alabama/LSU game. I practically forgot about it.
