KU AD "Feeling of solidarity" with B12 schools regarding MU

Sheahon Zenger today on 810 talking about MU's recent push to schedule B12 opponents in KC. He mentioned Iowa State specifically having the same position as KU... which is absolutely no interest. Sounds like he and Pollard have developed a good relationship.

That is great to hear because there is no way I would support such a game.

Screw Mizzou, let them travel for every game.

Good...the Big 12 schools should do NOTHING to assist Mizzou in keeping their footprint in the Midwest. They're a southeast school now...

I agree, Screw Mizzou. I don't want to schedule them in football or basketball ever again.

That would be great if we didn't play them. I hope Mizzou and aTm's programs fail as a result of their move....

    Yup.

The only former Big 12 school I have any interest in playing again is CU.

I like it. I said the same thing when Nebraska left. I'd prefer never to schedule Big XII defectors in any sport, ever.

They walked away from their traditional rivals and we have no responsibility to go out our way to sustain a rivalry with them. Just another example of how you cannot have your cake and eat it too.

Yep, this is the attitude the remaining big 12 schools should adopt. For the forseeable future no games w a&m or mizzou. Plenty of other options out there.

They couldn't wait to get out of the Big XII. They even looked down their collective noses at the conference while chanting SEC! Now they want to schedule us? I say if we never play them again, it will be too soon.

I'd play nebraska again before CU, mainly because Boulder has been a house of horrors for us over the years.
