Colts interview Tressel for HC job

Indianapolis Colts interview Jim Tressel for coach job, reports say - ESPN

He goes from being a field consultant of the Colts to possible Head Coach? Consider me confused by this possible move.

Wow...guy goes from being fired for his actions in college. So he gets a job in the nfl and is now being considered for a head coaching job. Some punishment he paid.

Well, if there was any doubt left in me that I'm a Bears fan at heart, this pretty much erased it.

We'll see. I'm not crazy about any of the candidates they've interviewed or want to interview so far outside of Mike Zimmer. I would love to see him bring some AFC North toughness and defensive mentality to Indy.

At least if he gets hired his typical habit of paying players will be legal.

Dude's not fit to carry Dungy's jockstrap let alone wear Dungy's sweater vest.

Well, technically, Tressel wasn't paying players; he just looked the other way in the face of direct evidence that several of his players were receiving improper benefits and committing other violations.

If that were the case, then they should be interviewing SEC coaches....although the will quit in a year or two, if it gets tough.
