We can only hope. It shouldn't have been this close, but it is a great experience for the team. Teaches them that they can't expect any gimmie's in Big 12 play and helps them learn how to win the close ones.
Reminds me of the UNI game in football. You felt like if we found a way to win that game we'd be OK and if we lost to UNI it was probably all over. Same thoughts were in my mind watching this game late.
Learning to close a game out is something a team learns together. This might be huge for the rest of the season. Other thoughts?
People tried to compare the Missouri game to Texas in football. I'll compare tonight to A&M in football. Even though that was a loss, you came away with the feeling that the season could be saved. Tyrus and Scotty saved the season, for now, tonight.
