    Wesley Johnson

Any T-Wolves fans out there? I was looking over the NBA box scores tonight and noticed Johnson is only averaging about 5/3/1 per game this year and 8/3/2 since he entered the league.

I know it's only his second year, but I was thinking his numbers would be up this year especially with Beasley out. They're actually down. Not the kind of production you'd expect from the #4 overall pick on a team with plenty of playing time and opportunities available. Just curious if there is any bust-talk starting up within Minnesota fans circles.

    Re: Wesley Johnson

Word on the street is that Adelman is evaluating all the players on this team and will make moves at the end of the season. If Wes keeps this level of play up, or lack there of, he'll be traded. The average T-Wolves fan thinks he's a waste of space.

He just has no jump shot what so ever.

I hear that he has some loyalty problems that have been holding him back.

    Re: Wesley Johnson

He's just not very good. Can't shoot, can't dribble, not a very good defender and Kevin Love steals all of his rebounds.

I heard his foot hurts and his coach is challenging his toughness

he should be better than what he is. Talent is there. But I think he is one of those guys that just can't take criticism. takes his ball home when the goin' gets tough.

    Re: Wesley Johnson

    Rubio!!!!

The T-Wolves remind me of the Bulls and to a lesser degree the Hawks from a few years ago, when they had a derth of young decent (but no stud) players with Rubio, K-Love, Beasley, D Williams, Darko, Wes J, and Ridnour (i can't beleive i'm conceding he's decent FML).

Johnson's ceiling seems like a poor man's Shawn Marion, which would be amazing from where he is now, which is a poor man's Renaldo Balkman.

    Re: Wesley Johnson

Hear he's what he was his 2nd yr at ISU, a 3pt shooter who stays outside and is weak. Heck one game he went 1-8 from 3. That's alot of shots when your not a shooter. He's also passing up open 3's as he's questioning himself. Complaints seem to be that his skills are limited, can't dribble, slash, shoot, or rebound. Until Wes commits to the weight room and listening to a coach he will be a BUST.

I think it might be reasonable to call Kevin Love a "stud". His numbers this year are better than any other PF in the league....if he was in a major market team, he'd probably get a lot more attention. I'm not a big NBA guy, so I could be wrong too.

    Re: Wesley Johnson

Gotta say that it is not surprising that Wesley is mediocre at best. Not all players drafted out of college can be instant hit/success.

Wes ask the wolves for a transfer.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
