    Should Trent Green retire?

Another concussion today. Had to be carted off the field after a knee to the head during a block.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

    Re: Should Trent Green retire?

His first concussion was quite severe and this one looks to be about the same caliber. He is taking a huge risk after this.

He took quite the hit. I guess he was knocked out

He needs to be done, no use being a vegetable to your family.

Isn't he 36? At that age with a history of concussions, if he isn't feeding Latrell Sprewell's family, then he needs to retire.

    Re: Should Trent Green retire?

I can tell you one thing.......he's retiring from my fantasy team! I had to start him since Carson Palmer is on a bye, and I got 2 points out of the deal. On a serious note, yeah, money can't buy your health back.

Hope you didn't have Larry Johnson at RB also. 10 yards no touchdowns.

    Re: Should Trent Green retire?

Miami is doing their best to make sure they secure that #1 slot. Hopefully there will be some big time QB's emerge this year from the college ranks.

So who will be the #1 draft choice?

Every time I watch a post-game interview with Taylor (Miami), I get the feeling he's either going to kill someone or cry. It's gotta be tough for him.

    Re: Should Trent Green retire?

#1 pick in terms of QB is a real tough one, I mean I guess you would be looking at the likes of Brian Brohm, Colt Brennan, John David Booty, Nate Longshore, Andre Woodson, I am obviously forgetting some people, but I would say those would be the tops right now and you look at Brohm and Booty and sort of question given some mistakes, but yea, who knows if any of those guys will be of any caliber. I mean they will have to see if John Beck ever develops or if maybe they can get someone through free agency that doesn't suck and on top of everything they hired a guy that couldn't even win at Indiana, so it doesn't exactly look good for the fighting flippers!
