    Fred's sideline demeanor

    I love that picture of Fred on the front page of CF. You can tell he's getting more comfortable with each game. He's getting on the officials and his players. He's much more demonstrative this year than last. It's fun watching him develop as a coach. I'm still waiting for him to get T'd up. Maybe today.

    I don't want him to get T'ed up unless it's really obvious that the refs are completely screwing us over. Just a little more emotion would be fine with me. I'd actually like to see him get a little more upset with a player that's not giving it their all for example.

    But I don't want him to become like Fran over in IC. What an embarrassment he is IMO.

    I think Fred's demeanor during games is partly his natural personality, but also partly a decision he made to remain calm. I think if Fred felt like it was best to yell and pick up a T, then he wouldn't have any trouble doing that.

    Looking back, he could have used one after the first bull**** foul called on Royce in the first minute of the MU game. That totally changed the game and screwed up our rhythm and flow. He picks up his second three minutes later and MU has the advantage the rest of the night.

    Yeah... the officials tend to call a pretty even game there. No sense working them if things start to get out of hand.
