    Christopherson vs. Clyburn

We've seen Scott C. add several weapons to his offense during his years here. Clyburn would seem to be a highly probable replacement for Scott in the starting line up next year. Does Clyburn bring a similar set of offensive tools to the game, or is he primarily a long range shooter?

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

Isn't Clyburn quite a bit taller and plays the wing? I don't think him and Scotty are much alike at all, but I could be wrong? I thought Clyburn was a 3, and Scotty is a 2.

Clyburn is a completely different player than Christofferson. Quick lefty that likes to drive as well as shoot. Much more athletic than SC. I watched him play at SCC once and he was a lot like Gilstrap at the time, drove a lot and forced the issue with poor judgement. Really improved at Utah. Decision making was what he needed to improved considerably at the time I watched him along with defense.

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

I'd guess its McGee that replaces Scottie at the off guard slot...and Clyburn will start upfront alongside Royce White. Babb takes the other off guard/off forward spot and Lucious is the point. Should be a very nice collection of talent...with some solid young guys and others for nice depth (Booker, Gibson, Ejim, Bubu, Niang, etcetera).

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

I for one am excited about Clyburn. I think its more likely that he replaces Allen in the lineup. CA is suppose to be a 3/2 combo guard and I thnk that's what Clyburn will be. CA brings the ball up more than he should but that's not his fault. With Korrie coming in next year Clyburn can be that spot up shooter on the wing op Babb. I can see us going with McGee, Babb, Clyburn, Lucious, and White for a single post. then on Defense running a Box and 1 like Floyd did alot with Fizer back in the day.

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

Clyburn should most defiantly should start at the 3 cause as Fred said he's the best NBA talent we have as a wing. So than I assume that would put Babb at the 2, Lucious at 1, than Royce and Ejim/Gibson down low.

Clyburn is a righty. But anyways I am super excited for Clyburn next year. CFH said he may have the most pro potential out of anyone on the team.

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

Lucious, Clyburn, Babb, White, Gibson is my projected starting 5. That gives us a lot of size and athleticism. McGee and Ejim will be next in and essentially interchangeable with the starters. Booker will add depth down low.

Of course the wild card is how much of a contribution the FR provide.

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

I am nearly 100% sure that four of the five starters will be:
    White
    Clyburn
    Babb
    Lucious

the final spot being taken by:
    McGee
    Ejim
    Gibson
And long shots to Booker and Niang

Clyburn is the dynamic player we are really missing this year. A true inside-outside player. Could play anywhere from the 2 to the 4 based on matchups/ lineups, but mostly the 3.

I don't expect Kerwin Okoro and Sherron Dorsey-Walker to play much - which is fine. They'll get plenty of minutes the following year after the 5 seniors graduate.

Ejim will not be a starter next year.

    Re: Christopherson vs. Clyburn

Next years team should be a tournament quality team. I think defensively we'll be much better, both Babb and Clyburn are lock down defenders. The starting 5 should be fairly obvious assuming Royce comes back and our depth will be extremely deep.

I think this is right, except I don't think Niang is a long shot to start. Depending on the matchup, I think it will either be Niang, McGee or Gibson.
