Did anyone else read Sean Keeler's column this morning? Not exactly very complimentary to the Hawks from someone whom a lot of Cyclone fans on this site claim is a "Hawkeye Homer". In fact, when reading it I seemed to recognize a lot of the same "back-handed compliments" towards the Hawks that posters here accuse Keeler of using when he writes about the Cyclones. And, can it be true? There is at least one comment by a Hawkeye fan wondering how on earth Keeler could have gotten a job at the Register.
Look, I don't agree with everything Keeler writes myself. But to beleive that an opinion columnist should be a media cheerleader for your favorite team (which a fair number of Cyclone fans and even Hawkeye fans apparently do) is just plain silly.
