    Friday Confessions (Old 1/13/12)

    It's been a while-
Who has some things to get off their chest?
    I'll get it rolling-
Cleaned out my unfinished basement. Set up a TV and an old couch with a square of carpet so I have an official "man cave," Thinking my wife or 3 daughters (come on sickos, the oldest is 5) would avoid the area at all costs. Made the mistake of hanging a hoop down there in the concrete area and now guess which room is the most used of the house.
Had to be "the old guy" this morning in the weight room. HS kids were playing music that, had it not been set to music, probably would have been considered porn. Pretty sure the "song" was talking about ******* and licking the ******** of ******. Is this stuff really considered music and do kids honestly think it can be played in public? the answer apparently is yes.
    There's a start. What's on your mind?

I actually agree with you. I'm only 26 but I consider about 95% of modern pop music to be completely abhorrent.

    re: Friday Confessions (Old 1/13/12)

My dog crapped all over yesterday afternoon. Still has diarrhea and am taking her to the vet later this morning. I'm kind of concerned because there is blood in her stool. We gave her a beef bone wed nite which, after gnawing on it for two hours, she completely consumed it. Now I'm worried that maybe a bone splinter may have caused some kind of internal damage. She's almost 13 years old, has arthritis, which I medicate her for, and has trouble getting up and down the steps (split level home). Otherwise she seems pretty healthy. Hoping I don't get some news about needing surgery -- then I'm going to have to do some serious thinking.

Are voices thru an electronic voice box considered music? Seems like Lil Wayne type of hip hop is overtaking all the old school lyrically driven hip hop like A Tribe Called Quest.
That's what ticks me off as an old school rap fan.

    95% is probably too generous.

I was just thinking of this the other night. Kind of harkening back to the "misunderstood lyrics" thread going on here about a month ago.

For the longest time I thought Joan Jett's back-up band was the Blackheads not the Blackhearts. Of course it was the time of Punk music with lots of intentionally offsetting names like "Dead Kennedys", "Throbbing Gristle" and "The Damned".

My gf and I have been getting more serious, its getting to the point where she's keeping a lot of stuff at my house. Out of curiousity I used a loofa(sp) for the first time ever, my skin is noticably softer. I feel like a ******.

I started Kosama this week along with totally changing my eating habits.

I now dream of Diet Cokes and Pizza instead of LoLo Jones mistreating me in a naughty way.

    re: Friday Confessions (Old 1/13/12)

Why is my brother or someone in his family always sick around family events. Christmas, his daughter was. Sat night, my son is getting baptised, then back to our house for dinner. He called last night that he and his gf havent been feeling well and wouldn't be there. Really bro? I know people get sick, but knowing his entire life history, this is BS. ok, I feel better. Who do I send payment to and is this session covered by Blue Cross?

I started p90x and last night was supposed to be Yoga. After seeing Tony Horton in yoga pants, my appetite has significantly decreased. That man works wonders.

PS, I gave up after about 10 minutes and watched the UW bball game on my computer while my gf continued to do it. That was nice.

Kind of reminds me of this commercial:

But seriously, you do exfoliate better.

Evidently not using the N word doesn't apply to "song" lyrics, they seem to use it every other word in the crap my kid listens to.
