    While bumming around Joplin, MO I ran across a sign for the George Washington Carver National Monument. Knowing that he had a connection to ISU I decided to go visit it. Its very nicely done with a great visitor's center. A good portion of the exhibits are devoted to Carver's work at ISU. Amazing person.

    He does have a bit of that in his cadence and the depth of his subject matter. He's a very good story teller.
