    Missouri/Nebraska

Can't believe nobody is talking about the BEATING Mizzou is putting on kNu. I HATE both these programs, but I will have to root for the Tigers over the Huskers...it's 34-6 heading into the 4th with Missouri driving. Looks to be in the bag, Nebraska just isn't good at coming from behind - A lot like us.

Hahahahahahaha, Mizzou running fake field goals up 28 in the 4th quarter. I love it.

After watching Knu last weekend I put some serious cash on the tigers.

    Thank you Gary Pinkel!

    Re: Missouri/Nebraska

    Nebraska is getting absolutely waxed.

I might have to wander over to the Husker boards this week and watch the fallout.

I've been surfing the Hawk board (HR) tonight, and it looks exactly like our board did last year. Specifically:

1.) "Coach should stay" vs. "Coach should go" arguments
2.) Bickering over who "real" fans are
3.) Posters making poor excuses for losing games (anything BUT the coaches, players, etc.)
4.) Other posters calling B.S. on the #3 posters
    5.) See #2 again
    6.) Blah blah blah

    Total meltdown.

The good thing for us is that our situation is pretty clear:

    1.) We suck
2.) We have OK talent, but not good/great talent
3.) McCarney debate aside, Chizik is as good as we could hope for in a HC, for our program, at this moment in time
4.) Chizik and his staff are in their first season, and we will improve. How much? We don't know... but I think we're all fairly confident that we will improve

I get the feeling that the contract extension was poorly timed. Of course, I think extending that contract was a bad idea at any time.

LOL. Wide open and the receiver drops it right over the middle.

I love watching Nebraska get beat. Even if it is by that idiot Pinkel.

    Re: Missouri/Nebraska

Said it from Day 1, Callahan is not a good coach. Still not able to even remotely compete with USC. Struggles mightily with Ball State. Pounded by Mizzu.

They now play 3 consecutive teams from the south. Oklahoma State and A&M at home and then on the road to Texas.

I think A&M hands it to 'em. They have a decent shot at beating Oklahoma State and Texas - however, I think at best Nebraska comes out of that 1-2.
