Needs to pass it more. We need to get more looks for babb and scotty

Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd

If you start a thread about a player and the only commentary you offer up is "He's horrible!" it will be deleted every time. Offer something of substance, and be respectful.

    Re: Chris Allen?

I would like to see the stat of how we shot when Allen brought the ball up the floor compared to everyone else. He seemed to force way to many shots. He needs to learn how to pass.

He's a great shooter who wants to carry his team and thinks he's an infallible shooter. It's a fatal flaw that leads to bad decisions. He needs to learn to move the ball around and not take contested shot because he thinks he can't miss going over 3 defenders.

    Re: Chris Allen?

He forces WAY too many shots! I cringe every time he puts the ball up...he needs to work on running the offense and not getting big numbers.

    Re: Chris Allen?

Chris Allen did nothing to lose this game tonight. Free throw shooting and rebounding lost this game.

    End thread.

He's a good player when he isn't shooting while fading left with a hand in his face and 20 feet from the basket.

You do realize he's just about the only on this team that can create his own shot, right? A couple of the forces were due to the fact the rest of the team was just standing around. The offense got stagnent at times in the second half and that was a huge issue and caused some really bad looks. Unfortunately for him he's going to be the scape goat for everyone else's lazy offense. we've got to learn to move better without the ball.

    Re: Chris Allen?

Do feel good calling out the a player by name in the thread title (not once but twice)?

It's not like you're breaking any news here. No one is going to argue that he's awesome.

I must apologize for my bad behavior. I'll be more respectful going forward. Someone called me a Moron in this thread and it was deleted as well. He hurt my feelings. Thanks Mr. Janny

I pity those that just go out of ther way to call out players on the Internet. Life must suck on their end.

    Re: Chris Allen?

Yes, he casts up some **** but I believe at least three were with the shot clock running out.

He could just hold it and hand the ball to the ref.

I called you a moron because you're anonymous and calling out a Cyclone by name in a title. And you're just stating what is already obvious, so don't pat yourself on your back.
