    Notre Dame

May be getting the first W of their season. Saw them covering but wish I could have seen them winning.

UCLA is good for one or two WTF type losses each year. First they get rolled by Utah, now this. I think their QB got dinged up, but still.

I've picked ND as doggs about every game this year. It had to pay off some time.

    Re: Notre Dame

Yeah they made up part of my 6 team parlay today.

    Utah - win
    Illinois - win
    Texas - win
Iowa State - pushed at 25
    ND - win
Now I need Mizzou to keep up the pace for the happy day.

look, I am glad you are having a good betting day, but how in the hell can you call anyday where ISU losses A HAPPY DAY??? There can be other things that go right during that day, but if you are a true Cyclone fan, a loss has to dampen things the rest of the day a bit.

    Re: Notre Dame

I agree and that is why I have to look elsewhere for some happiness. Some people have their beer/liquor to ease the pain some have sportsbooks. In my case it took a little of both today. If I let my whole day be ran by the outcome of the ISU football it would be a long long fall, my saving grace is in the fact that I know it will turn around in the future, it has to.

Sorry if you didn't like the post, I was just trying to ease my pain in my own way.

    Re: Notre Dame

It's all good, I didn't mean to come off too "serious" in that post. Just felt like stating the frustration. I guess we have to embrace our failures as much as our successes. You are right that it can only get better in the future though.

    1912 and still waiting...
